Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park came alive today with children and families alike promoting Activity Sheffield. An annual national celebration of a child’s right to play, this year’s theme Our Place is about promoting children as valued members of our communities.
It’s a fun family event with lots of activities which include den building, hay play, a water slide, an ice rink, inflatables, a rodeo bull, arena area, messy play, fire museum, kite making and much much more.
Among the cast of many was that popular educational toy Jofli Bear. It was a big day for this educational toy as it was his 3rd birthday. During the mascots competition, the whole crowd sang happy birthday to him and he loved it. He made lots of new friends while he was there, but, as I walked around with him, there were many children who already knew him well and came up for cuddles, to say hello and have their picture taken with him. The following photos are of all these children and apologies if yours isn’t here as some just didn’t turn out. If you see yourself, why not leave Jofli a special message below.
